Knot Your Average Club

October 6 (First Tuesdays), 5:30pm - 7:30pm

 

A fun space for the community to gather and create personal fiber arts projects.

Knitting, crocheting, weaving, embroidery, spinning, felting, etc.

Bring your own supplies.  No registration required.

Join local artist, Kristin Webber, in this Fall Harvest Collage Workshop. 

Turn autumn paper ephemera with rich colors and textures into an inspiriting mixed-media masterpiece.

This hands-on, beginner-friendly class provides a fall-inspired collage kit.

Optional materials and guidance will be available to help you craft seasonal art.

Hands on Science: Tower Building Challenge

Hands on science is back with a new challenge. Build the tallest tower using the provided materials and win a Hundred Grand (candy bar!).

For ages 5 - 18.  No registration required.

Cut, Paste, Reflect: A Soul Collage Workshop

October 13, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

 

Use magazines, photographs and words to create personal collage cards.

Emphasis is on personal reflections, creative exploration and enjoyment.

Led by Library Director, Terri Hebert.

Open Notebook: A Writing Circle

October 16, 2:30pm - 4:00pm

 

A welcoming, low-pressure writing circle designed for adults of all experience levels.

Whether you're crafting poetry, journaling, or writing a memoir, Open Notebook provides a dedicated space to reflect, connect, and simply put words to the page.

Each session includes writing prompts, quiet writing time, and optional sharing. No critique.

After-Hours Movie: Pressure

October 16, 5:30pm - 8:00pm

 

Pressure is a 2026 historical war drama film directed by Anthony Maras and adapted from David Haig’s 2014 stage play.

Set during a tense 72-hour window before D-Day, the story follows Allied Commander General Dwight D. Eisenhower and British chief meteorologist Captain James Stagg as they face a monumental decision on whether to launch the Normandy landings

Movie Rating: PG-13

Popcorn will be available.  Feel free to bring a comfy chair.
