Twin City Players Schedules Director Forum & Auditions

for Much Ado About Nothing

Twin City Players has scheduled a Director Forum and Auditions for its production of Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare. This original Rom-Com is the first production of TCP’s 94th Season.

A Director Forum, for those wishing to meet the director and learn more about the show, auditions, and ways to be involved, will be held Monday, May 11 at 6:30 pm. Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, May 17 at 2:30 pm, and Monday, May 18 at 6:30 pm. All three events will be held in The Studio at Twin City Players, 600 W. Glenlord Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Marty and Wendy Golob direct the production.

A list of cast/characters needed and additional information to prepare for auditions is available on the TCP website, www.twincityplayers.org. People of all genders and ethnicities are encouraged to audition. For questions, please contact the directors at mwjjjg@gmail.com or wjgolob1@gmail.com.

Enter the smoky, jazz-fueled 1920s heartland, where the "Merry War" is fought with biting wit instead of swords. Between the haze of the speakeasies and the glitz of the social circuit, cynical Benedick and fiercely independent Beatrice clash in a high-stakes battle of hearts. In a world where gossip is dangerous currency, these two skeptics must decide if love is worth the risk.

Show dates are August 21 – September 6, 2026, Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets available at www.twincityplayers.org in mid-July.

Twin City Players’ 2026-2027 Mainstage Season Sponsors are The Herald Palladium, Bradford Insurance Agency, Trilogy Counseling, Glenn & Kathy Ward Charitable Trust, Five Star Heating & Air Conditioning, Lake Michigan Chiropractic, and Indiana Michigan Power’s Cook Nuclear Plant. Show sponsorships are available.
