Twin City Players Schedules Director’s Forum & Auditions

for The Prom

 

Twin City Players has scheduled a Director’s Forum and Auditions for its production of The Prombook & lyrics by Chad Beguelin, book by Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, based on an original concept by Jack Viertel. This hilarious, entertaining, and most importantly, moving show is the final production of TCP’s 93rd Season.

 

A Director’s Forum, for those wishing to meet the director and learn more about the show, auditions, and ways to be involved, will be held Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 pm. Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 6:30 pm, and Tuesday, March 24 at 6:30 pm. All three events will be held in The Studio at Twin City Players, 600 W. Glenlord Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Jacob Holmes directs the production.

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So, when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one female student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together. Drama Desk Award for Best Musical!

 

Show dates are June 5-28, 2026, Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm.
