Growing in Grace Conference Set for March 21 in St. Joseph

Southwestern Medical Clinic, a Lakeland Health Affiliate, will present a community wellness conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at the Chapel, 4250 Washington Avenue, St. Joseph. St. Joseph native Linda Mintle, PhD, will serve as the keynote speaker for the event. Dr. Mintle is a licensed marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, professor, bestselling author, and national speaker. She will cover topics from her latest book “We Need to Talk: How to Successfully Navigate Conflict in our Relationships” at the conference. Workshops will focus on strengthening your interpersonal relationships while delivering practical skills for everyday life. Presenters will include local counselors from Southwestern Medical Clinic’s Christian Counseling and Psychological Services. Diagnosis and Treatment, presented by Marcia Wiinamaki, PsyD, and Rich Watson, MA, LPC, LLP Pre-registration is required by March 16. Registration is $25 and includes the entire conference and lunch.
