Hospice at Home Welcomes Nurse Practitioner
(ST. JOSEPH) – Hospice at Home, a Lakeland Health Affiliate, recently welcomed Rebecca Markus, NP, to its medical staff. Rebecca is caring for patients needing the services provided by Hospice at Home and Lakeland HouseCalls.
In 2014, Rebecca earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree at Maryville University, located in St. Louis, Missouri. She is certified in hospice and palliative medicine, with over 27 years of experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
Prior to assuming her current role at Lakeland, Rebecca spent the last 14 years working as a registered nurse for Hospice at Home. During that time, she served as a case manager and a nurse on the after-hours support team.
