The Improv Mills Inaugural Shows
THE IMPROV MILLS INAUGURAL SHOWS TO BE PERFORMED
FRIDAY OCTOBER 4TH.
The Improv Mill will hold its inaugural shows on Friday, October 4th in Niles, Michigan in the basement of New Journey UMC at 302 Cedar St. The evening will consist of two exciting shows.
7:00PM - The I-Team Duel of Fools. This comedy duel pits two teams of improvisors against each other in a competition for the audience’s affection. Using audience suggestions to inspire them, the teams will compete and audience members will rate each scene. One team will walk away with their heads held high and the other will walk away if they can. Akin to what you may have seen on Whose Line is it Anyway.
9:00PM - Long From Improv Featuring regional improvisers from St. Joseph to Kalamazoo in the groups Small Victories and Canned Champagne. Improvisors will get a suggestion from the audience and perform a 20-45 minute piece inspired by the single suggestion. Akin to what you may have seen at some of the famous improv theatres in Chicago and New York.
The goal of The Improv Mill is to bring professional grade improvisational theater to the Michiana area to entertain, edify and delight audiences. As unscripted, spontaneous theatre each show is a one time only experience and there is no telling what will happen. The Improv Mill is a PG-13 or better experience and the entire family is welcome.
Admission is $10 per show and tickets are available through theimprovmill.com or at the door, space permitting.
