Inaugural Downtown St. Joseph Poetry Walk

The St. Joseph/ Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library is hosting the Inaugural Downtown Poetry Walk for the month of April!

This April, the St. Joseph/ Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library will celebrate National Poetry Month with it's first ever Downtown Poetry Walk. This annual event highlights poetic works submitted by authors from around the state, themed "Transitions." With the collaboration of businesses in the downtown St. Joseph area, poem posters will be displayed all April long, promoting poetry, our beautiful downtown, and our amazing business partners.

Information on the poems, poets, and the poster locations can be found by visiting the Library website: www.librarybythelake.org. Poems along the walk also have a QR code for a "digital walk" for participants unable to view them all.
