The excitement is building as preparations begin for the 64th Annual Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, presented by 1st Source Bank Wealth Advisory Services. The highly anticipated Art Fair Jury Day marked an important milestone in the selection process.
A distinguished panel of artists and collectors—Emily Wohlscheild, Federico Rodriguez |||, Glen Burkhardt, Robin Maxon, and Roman Simmons—brought their expertise to thoughtfully curate this year’s lineup of talented artisans for the Fair. With their extensive experience and strong artistic backgrounds, the jury carefully narrowed down an exceptional group of artists to showcase their work at this year’s Art Fair.

Glen Burkhardt
Investor and advisor to start-up biotechs
After a long career as a biotech executive, Glen is returning to his roots in semi-retirement. He has a private studio in Indianapolis at the Fountain Square Clay Center where he specializes in wood firing and is currently building a studio in San Diego.

Federico Rodriguez III
Artist & Bilingual Outreach Coordinator for South Bend Community Schools
Federico Rodriguez is a Chicano visual artist, muralist, and community arts educator based in South Bend, Indiana. His work explores identity, labor, faith, and cultural memory, often drawing from Mexican American history and lived experience. In addition to his studio practice, he leads large-scale community mural projects that center youth voice and collective storytelling. Professionally, he serves as the Bilingual Outreach Coordinator for the South Bend Community School Corporation.

Robin Maxon
Retired Graphic Designer

Robin is an award-winning watercolor artist from St. Joseph, Michigan, with over 30 years of painting experience. Inspired by the shores of Lake Michigan, she especially enjoys capturing beach scenes, glowing sunsets, and the local lighthouse, while also exploring a wide range of other subjects.

Roman Simmons
3D visualization artist
Simmons is a 3D ArchViz Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the furniture industry. He is a freelance 3D VFX artist and graphic designer. Additionally, he is a former Sketch Artist at Disney.

Emily Wohlscheid
Teaching Artist
Emily Wohlscheid is the teaching artist behind Bricolage Studios. She works out of a cooperative studio in West Michigan and specializes in small batch fiber blends and jewelry inspired by nature and textiles. She regularly contributes to both Spinoff and PLY Magazine and teaches jewelry and textile courses year-round.
The Art Fair promises to be a celebration of creativity, featuring a diverse array of artists from across the country. Visitors can expect to experience a wide range of mediums, styles, and artistic expressions, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Michigan.
