Krasl Arts Center Community Exceeds Goal
Krasl Arts Center Community Exceeds Goal for Upton Foundation Matching Grant
Funds will support educational programming for the arts
The Krasl Art Center exceeded its goal of raising $20,000 to support its education programs through the generosity of community members and friends. The annual appeal closes the center’s third year of meeting this goal, doubled in value through a matching grant from Frederick S. Upton Foundation.
“We are deeply grateful for the generosity the Upton Foundation and our many friends have shown toward our mission, especially now,” said Tami Fauver, executive director and chief curator. “To have surpassed our goal reflects our community’s commitment to providing a dynamic arts education for all. These gifts strengthen our endeavors and align with our ambitious vision for the year ahead.”
Krasl Art Center’s education programs range from tuition-based studio classes to public events and community partnerships. A common philosophy unites these programs, emphasizing four core strategies: creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, providing student-centered learning, connecting art to life, and affirming process over product.
In 2025, the Krasl Art Center served more than 1,054 students through 113 camps, classes and workshops. It provided 76 scholarships, and an additional 19 scholarships through the Arianne Baker Memorial Fund.
