Lake Michigan College to Host Law Enforcement Hiring Fair

People considering a career in public safety are invited to attend a Law Enforcement Hiring Fair hosted by Lake Michigan College from 5–7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. The open house-style event will be held in the Hanson Technology Center on LMC’s Benton Harbor campus located at 2755 E. Napier Ave.

Attendees can talk with representatives from city, township, and county law enforcement departments throughout Southwest Michigan about career opportunities within those organizations. Agencies expected to attend include:

Benton Township Police Department
Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department
Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety
Niles Police Department
St. Joseph Department of Public Safety
Berrien County Sheriff’s Office – Enforcement Division
Berrien County Sheriff’s Office – Jail Division
Cass County Sheriff’s Office
Allegan County Sheriff’s Office
Berrien County 911 Dispatch
Berrien County Juvenile Center
Kalamazoo Probation Enhancement Program (KPEP)
Michigan Department of Corrections, Berrien Probation and Parole

Information will also be available about the next LMC Police Academy sessions planned for Summer 2025. The session will be held on the College’s Benton Harbor Campus beginning in May.
