Lakeshore Rotary Hosts Annual Burger Bash Fundraiser Ahead of "War by the Shore" Game

The Lakeshore Rotary Club invites the community to fuel up before one of the area's biggest football matchups of the season. On Friday, September 11, 2026, the club will host its annual Burger Bash tailgate fundraiser at Lakeshore High School from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., just ahead of the "War by the Shore" rivalry game between Lakeshore and St. Joseph.

Attendees can enjoy a complete tailgate meal—including a grilled burger, chips, and baked beans—for $10. Meals will be available for quick pickup through a dedicated drive-through line along Cleveland Avenue or inside the Lakeshore High School cafeteria for walk-in dining.

Tickets can be purchased at the pickup line on the evening of the event or in advance through any Lakeshore Rotary member. Payment via check should be made payable to the Lakeshore Rotary Foundation.

All proceeds from the event support Lakeshore Rotary's local and global service initiatives, helping drive projects that directly enrich our hometowns.

These funds allow us to continue supporting our local schools, enhancing shared spaces like North Lake Park and the Stevensville Community Gathering Place, hosting favorite traditions like Senior Citizen Night, and joining hands with international service partners."
