Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brother Kelly Becht and sister Patty McIntosh.

Linda was born on December 21, 1952, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Ronald and Junia (Ormsby) Becht. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School. On June 1, 1974, she married Robert “Bob” Wagner in Sodus, Michigan.

Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with them and was blessed to work alongside her husband and children every day. She and Bob owned and operated two family businesses, Flowerland for 39 years and Napier Gold for 47 years, teaching their children the values of hard work and collaboration from a young age. While spending the majority of their week together running a business, Linda never took time with her family for granted. In fact, there was nothing she loved more than when her grandchildren stopped by to visit.

Being a grandmother held a special place in her heart, and she enjoyed the happiness and love her grandchildren brought into her life. She cherished every opportunity to hear about their lives, listening intently to show them there was nothing more important in that moment. Her grandkids always lit up as she shared stories in return, as they loved hearing about her childhood and her younger years with their grandpa.

Linda’s favorite things to do were usually the simplest and, certainly, involved her family. She and her husband loved spending time going on long drives, and they regularly made stops along the way to visit with their children and grandchildren. Her love for her family was at the center of her life, and the memories they made together will forever be treasured.

In addition to her family, Linda also loved the Lord and made it a priority to share her love for Him. In fact, she especially enjoyed celebrating Him on Christmas, Linda’s favorite holiday. More than anything, she did everything she could to make the holiday season magical for her family, leaving no corner of her home undecorated and wrapping countless presents to help make every Christmas wish come true. The family always looked forward to enjoying long-held traditions, like her annual Christmas Eve reading of the Nativity story and Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Linda rarely missed an opportunity to bring her family together. Whether celebrating special occasions or having an open-door policy that often resulted in impromptu gatherings, she made it clear that her family was her world, and in turn, her family loved her dearly.
