Loud Car Stereo? Turn it Down!

The City of Benton Harbor Is Cracking Down on Loud Music Violators

The city of Benton Harbor has instituted a zero tolerance policy for violations of the loud music and public peace ordinances.  The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety will be strictly enforcing these ordinances.   Violators will receive appearance citations and up to a $250 fine.  Additionally, violators may have his/her vehicle impounded and must pay the associated towing and storage fees .  

This order will be indefinite in its duration.

Citizens who suffer any instances of loud music are asked to call BHDPS at 927-8436 to report it.
