Missing Person found in Rocky Gap Park

OFFENSE:  Missing Person on April 10, 2018 at 7:35 p.m.

DATE:  April 27, 2018                        

TIME:  9:20 a.m.

LOCATION:  Rocky Gap Park, Benton Township, Michigan 

AGENCIES INVOLVED: Benton Township Police road patrol and detective bureau, Berrien County Marine Division, St. Joseph Department of Public Safety and Medic 1.

On April 27, 2018 at 9:20 a.m. the Benton Township Police Department responded to Rocky Gap Park on the report of a body that washed up near the shoreline.  Upon further investigation, the deceased was identified as Ralph Ford of White Pigeon, Michigan.  Mr. Ford was originally reported missing on April 10, 2018 from Brian’s Marina where he was seen on his dock.  The body was transported to Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph by Medic 1.  At this time there is no evidence of foul play.
