River Terrace Fatal Shooting

On 06/10/2017 at approximately 2:55PM, Officers were dispatched to the River Terrace apartment complex in the City of Benton Harbor to investigate a call of a shooting. BHDPS officers responded and found a 21 year old man had been severely wounded by gunfire. The man was taken to Lakeland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identification is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The 21 year old male was from Benton Harbor. Officers are following several leads and have questioned several people.

The investigation is being conducted by the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety with assistance from Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit, FBI VCTF and Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim of the Saturday shooting in the River Terrace Apartments has been identified as 21 year old Kyre Perre Hull. An autopsy was completed this morning and with cause of death being gunfire.
