Movie Matinee- November 1st at 1pm: Come on down for the Library's showing of this month's title: "On the Basis of Sex" starring Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer, about the true story of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Film time starts at 1pm and guests are welcome to bring their own munchies!
Anime Club For Teens- November 1st at 4pm: Hang out with friends, watch and discuss Anime, and enjoy candy & snacks! This is a monthly program that meets on the first Friday of each month.
Car Seat Safety Checks- November 6th at 11am: Car seat safety technicians will be on site to check children’s car seats to ensure they are installed properly and educate parents on how to safely install them in the future.
It’s Elementary: Chicken Soup For Your Soul!- November 12th at 6pm: Meditate, make lavender sleep masks to help with relaxation, read some good books, and engage in acts of kindness with this cozy-time Elementary program designed to feed the soul!
Crochet & Cocoa- November 13thth at 6pm: Teens in grades 9th-12th Cozy up and learn to crochet while enjoying a warm cup of cocoa!
Friends of the Library Used Book Sale!- November 14th, 15th, & 16th: It's time for the Friend's of the Library: Used Book Sale! See what literary treasures you can find to hunker down with for the coming winter season. Please note dates & times: Thursday the 14th from 10:30am-7pm, Friday the 15th from 10:30am-5pm, & Saturday the 16th from 10:30am-2:30pm ***16th is the Bag Sale Day! buy a $6 bag from the Friends of the Library and Shop Til You Drop! ***
Author Marcy Blesy Talks: Independent Publishing- November 19th at 6pm: Are you a writer with aspirations to publish? Join us as we hear from Author Marcy Blesy as she discussing the processes involved with independent publishing.
Tweens: Let’s Have A Blast With Balloons!- November 21st at 5pm: For kids in grades 4th-6th, enjoy games, a pinata, and silly challenges with balloons!
Pages & Paws- November 21st at 6pm: Let your little one grow their reading skills & confidence with this lovely program which allows them to read to an adorable pup.
2nd Annual Book Fair For Adults at The Community Taproom!- November 20th & 21st from 6pm-8pm: Adults, are you ready for the Book Fair? Join us at the Community Taproom in the Main St. Market for the return of this fantastic throwback to those school Scholastic book fairs we enjoyed as kids- this time for adults!
