St. Joseph - Lincoln Senior Service Center to Host Fundraiser in Support of Senior Services
The St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center will be hosting a Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser on Saturday, September 7th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Donations raised will support senior services at the Center.
The Walk-A-Thon will be located on the Priscilla Upton Byrns Walking Trail, a one-sixth mile walking trail through beautiful gardens, as well as the Hanes Family Wild Flower Trail, winding approximately one-half mile throughout the wooded property. Both trails are located at the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center.
Attendees are invited to enjoy on-site music, concessions and games. All ages are welcome to
participate, come rain or shine. Walkers are asked to obtain donations prior to the event and
donation envelopes are available at the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center.

Founded in 1975 and located in Berrien County, the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center (SJLSSC) is committed to providing a welcoming, safe and friendly setting for Senior Citizens. Supporting member independence by offering social, educational, cultural and recreational programs and services SJLSSC currently offers daily transportation for members throughout our community, a variety of fitness classes, cards and games, pickleball and craft classes, health and wellness programs and educational programs. The SJLSSC computer lab, circuit and cardio training facility, and Rick Freridge Wood Shop are also all available for member use.
As a non-profit, funding for St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center is supported by the Berrien County Senior Center Millage, which is split between seven senior centers in Berrien County, as well as support from fundraisers and community donations.
