St. Joseph North Pier Closed June – Oct 2015

City Hall is receiving lots of questions about what to expect throughout the construction process this summer as our North Pier lighthouses are renovated and restored to their original beauty. The good news is, to date, the Lighthouse Forever Fund has raised $1.735 million of the $2 million needed; sufficient funds to begin the renovation work. At this time, people should count on the entire North Pier being closed from June through October. The work includes not only the lighthouses but also the catwalks, and a safety and staging zone will need to be instituted.
