Director’s Forum & Auditions for Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella

 

Twin City Players has scheduled a Director’s Forum and Auditions for the final production of its 91st Mainstage Season, the most enduring fairy tale, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, new book by Douglas Carter Beane, original book by Oscar Hammerstein II.

 

A Director’s Forum, for those wishing to meet the director and learn more about the show, auditions, and other ways to be involved, will be held on Thursday, March 7, at 7 pm. Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, March 23 at 1 pm and Monday, March 25 at 7 pm, with callbacks on March 27 if needed, in the Studio at Twin City Players, located at 600 West Glenlord Road, St. Joseph, Michigan. Jacob Holmes directs the production.

 

This enchanting, Broadway adaptation of the beloved musical will put a spell on audiences of all ages. Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella showcases some of the songwriting duo’s loveliest tunes, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” as well as some new characters and surprising twists. Add a dash of fairy-tale romance, magical onstage transformations, the iconic pumpkin, and glass slippers—and you’re guaranteed to have a ball! Tony, Drama Desk, & Outer Circle Award winner!
