Twin City Players Presents Improv Comedy Workshop

Twin City Players presents an Improv Comedy Workshop on June 20, 2024 at 7 pm, facilitated by Stephen Kadwell. Online pre-purchase is required at Deadline to purchase is June 14. $10 per participant (18 years of age and up). The workshop will be held in The Studio at Twin City Players, 600 W. Glenlord Road, St. Joseph, MI.

Come and experience the art of improvisational theatre. You'll be (re)introduced to some of the fundamentals of improv and build characters and scenes from scratch. Whether you're an experienced actor or have never tread the boards, improv skills can help you be present in the moment, cozy up to the unknown, and embrace the unexpected in all areas of life.


About Stephen Kadwell

Stephen studied theatre at Western Michigan University before moving to Orlando, Florida. While in the Sunshine State he was a working actor at both Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World resorts as well as SAK Comedy Lab. Stephen is a founder of the Orlando improv group Offsides and he also worked his way through the ranks of SAK Comedy Lab and served as an Associate Artistic Director before moving back north. Stephen has completed the Second City Conservatory and iO training programs. While in Chicago Stephen played on an iO Harold team, as well as an independent team, and directed/produced The Improvised Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, Improv Sabotage, and Game Set Match. He has performed at several festivals around the country both with Offsides and as part of a two-person improvised noir called No Third Man.
