Village of Baroda Announces “Countdown on First Street”, A Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration in the Heart of Downtown

The Village of Baroda is thrilled to announce the inaugural “Countdown on First Street”, a brand-new community-wide New Year’s Eve celebration taking place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in downtown Baroda. This first-ever, family-friendly event will bring neighbors, families, and visitors together for an evening of music, local flavors, winter activities, and a shared countdown as we welcome 2026 in true small-town style.

The debut event highlights the vibrancy and collaboration within Baroda’s downtown district, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy local flavors, joyful experiences, and the spirit of community connection that defines the village. Families and friends are encouraged to bundle up and join in as Baroda rings in the new year in a fun and meaningful new way.

As part of the celebration, Round Barn Brewery & Public House will host a Keg Drop at 10:00 p.m., sponsored by Bennett Construction. Guests can gather outside the Round Barn Brewery & Public House as an illuminated keg makes its dramatic descent, a lively and uniquely Baroda twist on the traditional ball drop. Following the Keg Drop, attendees can continue to enjoy the festive atmosphere before rejoining First Street for the village’s main midnight countdown.

Participating Businesses: These businesses will be offering special menus, extended hours, seasonal beverages, and unique experiences designed to make the night unforgettable for residents and visitors alike.
