The wait is over for the customers of Back on the Rack in Watervliet!

The popular upscale resale, consignment, and tuxedo shop has set its Grand Re-Opening for Friday, April 6 & Saturday April 7. And just in time, as prom season is in full bloom. Many young men in southwest Michigan needing tuxedos will find top designer brands there at the lowest prices in the area. Ladies going to prom will be dazzled by over 400 formal gowns available, including over 100 BRAND NEW Alfred Angelo, Andrew Adela, and Jasmine gowns. Anyone wanting to rent a tux or look at gowns before the Grand Re-Opening date can call Jennifer at 269-463-7225. Chances are pretty good that she will be there finishing up the new space, but call first just in case.

After being forced to move from the 5 year location in downtown Watervliet in January, owner Jennifer Moore posted a message on the store's Facebook page telling customers what was happening. Moore received hundreds of comments from customers and members of the surrounding communities offering help to pack, haul, and find a new space. "I was overwhelmed by the response from so many people who love shopping here and did not want the store to close. I never had any intentions of closing, but I certainly didn't know where I was going to relocate and I really wanted to stay in Watervliet", said owner Jennifer Moore. Two days after her post, she was approached by a Watervliet township building owner offering space that would require 6 weeks of renovation. Moore decided the location would work well for her business and agreed to wait. Now that the new space is completed, it has begun taking shape and filling up with new, and never-offered-before merchandise. But don't worry, if you had your eye on an item before the move, there's a good possibility it's still available. The only way to know for sure is to show up at the Grand Re-Opening on April 6 & 7.

Back on the Rack will be open 10am-6pm both days.

A ribbon cutting will take place at 10:30am on Friday.

Refreshments will be served both days.

There will be drawings for gift certificates from Back on the Rack and other area businesses on both days.

Special guest on Saturday 1pm-3pm, local author Rosanne Bittner will be offering book signing on several of her latest novels. She currently has over 65 books published.
