Twin City Players presents the fall production of its 2026-2027 94thMainstage Season, the dystopian sci-fi drama, Brave New World by Douglas Post, based on the book by Aldous Huxley. 

 

Happiness is a pill. Individuality is a crime. Experience a "perfect" future where happiness is a pill away and no one ever feels alone—but at what cost? In Douglas Post’s gripping stage adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s masterpiece, the high-tech World State is challenged when an outsider known as “the Savage” arrives, sparking a powerful collision between the regime’s forced contentment and the raw human spirit. Join us for a sleek, thought-provoking theatrical journey that explores the true meaning of freedom and the power of individuality.

 

Tickets are $15 - $20 (plus a $1 fee per ticket). Tickets available at twincityplayers.org. Performances are October 9 – 25, 2026, Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm, at the TCP Playhouse, 600 W. Glenlord Road, St. Joseph, MI. Opening Night complimentary wine provided by Filkins Vineyards. Brave New World is produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.

The show is directed by Will Flaherty, who is assisted by Assistant Director Jarad Medukas, Stage Manager Anastasia Field, Set Design/Build John Golob, Costume Design Michelle Flaherty, Intimacy Coordinator Cassidy Vlietstra, Sound Design Liam Diefenbach, Tech Director Scott Bradford, and Set Painter Cindy Jakeway.

Cast members include Kraig Kirkdorfer, Jim Richards, Roxy Maxwell, Kristen Robinson, Jim Gehring, Marie W., Melissa Shane, Joe Daniel, Shelby Mackay, Jennifer Quail, Liv Abram, Darby Williams, Mel Weber, and Jodie Wilson.
