William Robert Wilson Obituary

William Robert Wilson, 84, of St. Joseph, Mich., passed away on the morning of Sept. 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

A strategic asset manager and financial advisor for three decades serving the Lancaster County, Pa., community, "Bob" was both a pragmatist and a smiling, congenial friend to so many. He was generous in his support and wise, targeted advice to his clients, his associates and family, but best known for his warm, ready handshake and instant connection with people. A Lincoln Charter Township resident since 2019, Bob was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph and was a grateful supporter of the Bible study classes there.

Survivors: wife, Linda Hayden Wilson; son, William E. Wilson; daughter, Jennifer L. Wilson (Kevin Siek); brothers, Stephan Wilson and Timothy P. Wilson; sister, Sarah J. Wilson (R.Morgan); and nine grandchildren.

Predeceased by father, William Calvin Wilson III; mother, Sarah Margaret Disbrow; brothers, J. Richard Wilson, Jeffery G. Wilson and Terrence M. Wilson.

Family and friends will gather on Sept. 14, 2026 in Central Pennsylvania for a funeral service and committal.

For a more lasting memory, donations in Bob’s name can be made out to Wings of Hope Hospice. The family thanks Wings of Hope for their loving and gentle care.
