Armed Robbery and attempts at Andrews University

Through the assistance of the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, tips from citizens and video provided by AUOCS, three suspects were developed and through investigation they were identified and arrested by BSOTPD Officers Christner and Robbins along with members of the FBI-VCTF. An “air-soft” pistol that was believed to have been used in this incident was recovered as well.  All three subjects were lodged in the Berrien County Jail on charges of armed robbery.   BSOTPD is grateful for the tips received and for the assistance provided by the FBI-VCTF.   Cooperation with citizens and other law enforcement agencies made it possible to close this felony investigation in a little more than 24 hours.    

Persons Arrested:       Roy Leon MOORE Jr, 17, Berrien Springs, Byron Marselle TALBERT, 19, Berrien Springs,  Thomas ROGERS,  18,   Berrien Springs                     

Charges: ALLTHREE MULTIPLE COUNTS of ARMED ROBBERY
