The death of 14 month old girl confrimed in Berrien Springs

    Sad news, as the Berrien Springs Oronoko Twp Police Department is investigating a fatal non-traffic accident in which involved the death of 14 month old girl in her driveway and her family car.  The car was driven by a family member. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner.  This accident remains under investigation and the results will be sent to the Berrien County Prosecutors Office for review.   Names will be released later.

    Assisting BSOTPD officers at the scene were members of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office road patrol and their Fatal Accident Investigation Team, Berrien Springs Oronoko Twp Fire Dept and Medic 1. 

     The Berrien County Victims assistance unit and Chaplin assisted with the family at the scene.
