Frances “Beverly” DeMaria Obituary

Frances “Beverly” DeMaria, 96, of Benton Harbor, passed away, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at her home.

Beverly was born July 1, 1930 in Hawesville, KY to Raymond & Essie Massie. After moving to Southwest Michigan, she married Stephen DeMaria in St. Joseph on September 26, 1977. She was employed for several years at BIC Portable Turntables in St. Joseph. Beverly was a member of the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Center in St. Joseph and the North Berrien Senior Center in Coloma and a former member of the Benton Harbor Moose Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, sewing, sewing dolls & teddy bears and shopping. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Beverly is survived by her husband Stephen; her children-Linda Clark, Murray Kramer, Maria Schell; step-children-Josephine Beeson, Camillo DeMaria, Bessie Harris, Stephanie DeMaria, Stephen (Tina) DeMaria, III, Nic DeMaria, Joseph DeMaria; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren; two brothers-Raymond & Mark Massie; her sister Kay Wilson; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children-Judy Seeley & Raymond Schell, and siblings-Raymond Massie, Ed Massie, Gladys Richardson & Mary Snelling.
