Jimmie D. Windsor Obituary

Jimmie D. Windsor, 78, of Benton Harbor, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Born on March 6, 1948, in Mayfield, KY, to James and Reba (Clemons) Windsor, Jimmie graduated from Benton Harbor High School. He proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1974. Jimmie later devoted himself to protecting and serving his community as a Police Officer, retiring after 41 years of dedicated service. In 1993, he married the love of his life, Karen Hartlerode.

In his spare time, Jimmie found joy in the outdoors and loved riding his motorcycle.

Jimmie is lovingly survived by his wife, Karen Windsor; his children, Melissa Angelo and Kelly Garcia; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Billy Windsor and Sheila Vienup.
