Lincoln Charter Township Police Department responded to a business alarm at the BP station located at 5515 Red Arrow Hwy
The Lincoln Charter Township Police Department reports the overnight arrest of an individual suspected in Three area business burglaries.
Officers from LTPD responded to a business alarm at the BP station located at 5515 Red Arrow Hwy. in the Village of Stevensville at 03:30 AM this morning. Upon arrival they determined that the front door was smashed out and an unknown amount of money or merchandise was taken. With the assistance of the store owner, the surveillance video revealed that the suspect was driving a tow truck, and was recognized by the Officer as being David Flamm (42) of Stevensville. During the investigation two other burglaries were discovered in Royalton Township, at the BP gas station at M139 & Scottsdale Road and Aden's landscaping on Glenlord
Road--both of those incidents were investigated by the Berrien County Sheriff's Dept.
Upon determining the description and ID of the suspect in the Stevensville incident a radio BOL (Be-On-The Lookout) was broadcast in an attempt to locate the suspect and vehicle. The vehicle and suspect was subsequently located and taken into custody by St. Joseph Township Police Officers at a gas station at I-94 and Niles Road.
The incident(s) remain under investigation, with charges being sought for B&E on Flamm with the Berrien County Prosecutors office, and arraignment in the Berrien Co. Trial Court on today's date.
