Present Pillars launches a new program this spring in Benton Harbor that aims to support and empower the next generation of fathers. The Dad Playbook, a 12-week initiative hosted by Present Pillars that is now accepting registrations from current, expecting, and aspiring dads, particularly young men between the ages of 16 and 24.

The program begins on Monday, April 28, 2025, and offers a weekly space for fathers to build essential parenting skills, explore emotional and physical wellness, and grow within a community of like-minded peers. Centered around the nationally recognized 24/7 Dad 12 Key Behaviors curriculum, this initiative is designed to meet participants where they are and provide them with practical strategies for navigating fatherhood with confidence and purpose.

Over the course of the 12 weeks, participants will explore topics such as health, communication, discipline, relationships, and long-term planning, all while gaining new tools to strengthen their roles as fathers. The program will run through July 14, 2025, and requires attendance at a minimum of 10 out of 12 sessions for successful completion.

With only 12 spots available, the program promises an intimate and impactful experience for those who join. Present Pillars strongly encourages registration, as the deadline to sign up is April 23, 2025.

Executive Director James Gunter shares, “Fatherhood is the most important job a man can do. It is imperative that young men prioritize their mental, physical and financial health- not as an act of selfishness, but as an act of love. My team and I are excited to serve our community and its families.”
