Ted was born on February 24, 1943, in Benton Harbor, to Lloyd and Edna (Somogi) Zindler. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School before beginning a long career in manufacturing. Throughout the years, he worked for Pemco, Dynac Corp., and Hoffman, where he remained until his retirement. On March 19, 1988, Ted married the love of his life, Judy, in Benton Harbor, and together they shared a wonderful marriage.

Ted found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, collecting stamps, taking photographs, and playing pool. Above all else, he treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He was a selflessly devoted family man.

Ted is lovingly remembered by his sons, Michael Zindler and Roger Zindler; stepchildren, Michael Pond, Eric Pond, and Marcy Pond-Simpson; grandchildren, Spencer Simpson (Mazi Heppler), Troy (Kiya) Simpson, and Tyler Edwards (Chris Capparelli); great-grandchildren, Hudson Edwards and Cecilia Simpson; and brother, Frank Zindler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Edna Zindler. He left the world with his beloved wife of 38 years, Judy Zindler.
