ABONMARCHE HIRES A NEW STAFF ENGINEER

BENTON HARBOR – Abonmarche, a Michigan- and Indiana-based engineering, architecture and survey firm, has hired Lisa VanBladeren as a staff engineer.

VanBladeren’s responsibilities will include drafting plans, checking as-built drawings, calculating quantities and materials and performing on-site inspections. Before coming to Abonmarche, VanBladeren interned for the Jal Bhagirathi Foundation in Jodhpur, India, where, among other projects, she designed and tested a mobile laboratory for water quality testing to be used in villages. VanBladeren received a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a Global and Ecological Health and Engineering Certificate from Northwestern University.
